Boundary DamPrimitive camp sites (i.e., about 4) in a forested setting along the shoreline of the Pend OreilleRiver. This stretch of the river is one of the most scenic inthe State of Washington if not the Northwest. It is typifiedby the precipitous rock walls descending 100 to 200 feet tothe river. One can see elk, bear, deer and many otherforms of wildlife along the shoreline. Visitors can fish forrainbow trout as they drift down the river in a raft or boat. Take State Hwy. 31 north to the town of Metaline Falls, then take Boundary Road north about 6 miles. Turn east on primitive road (the primitive road is about 1.5 miles north of Ledbetter Lake) for 2.5 miles to the Pend Oreille River. www.hobogrill.org |
